Dario Pinello is a fisheries economist with 14 years of international professional experience. He has a Master’s degree in business administration and a single cycle Master’s Degree in environmental science.
Dario is in Nisea since 2014, before he has worked three years for the FAO and nine years for IREPA.
He has gained international professional experience in the Mediterranean area across 8 EU and non-EU countries, specifically in: Italy, Greece, Lebanon, Gaza strip, Egypt, Albania, Montenegro and Turkey.
Over these years he has also cooperated with governments and policy makers in socio-economic aspects of fisheries.
His experience is especially strong in: fisheries management and development, data collection and analysis, economic performance appraisal and cost/benefit analysis, management plans, value chain analysis, seafood marketing and trade.
He’s currently in the bureau of EAFE (European Association of Fisheries Economists) and in the scientific committee of Eurofishmarket.
